Howard Stern has spoken out about the Netflix documentary series and criticized Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in harsh terms. For the famous broadcaster it is impossible to sympathize with the duke and duchess on some things.
The American host expressed his annoyances about what Harry and Meghan want to project with the documentary series where Netflix has already released the first three episodes of the series last December 8 and will premiere another three episodes on December 15.
Howard Stern on Harry and Meghan
Stern has mixed feelings about the footage. The presenter has assured that he watched the documentary because his wife forced him to and that he doesn’t understand the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
“They come off like such whiny bitches,” the broadcaster has said bluntly.
“It’s just weird to see two people who keep screaming, ‘We wanted our privacy, we wanted the press to leave us alone,’ and then what is their special that they put out on Netflix? Showing you them and their kids and their life.”
Despite giving his harsh opinion against Meghan and Harry, Stern makes it clear that he does empathize with the Duke of Sussex and Princess Diana.
“I understand that Prince Harry is angry at the monarchy because of his mother. They treated her like s#!t… I feel bad for Prince Harry who lost his mother and all that. So you have my empathy there.”
Stern made it clear that his discomfort lies when Harry and Meghan start complaining about everything they experienced in a castle and how Meghan wants to be famous in America.
“I don’t think he’s going to like it in the end. I’ll tell you that,” Howard Stern concluded, addressing Prince Harry.
