The Royal Household has just released Infanta Sofia’s annual summary, which includes previously unseen photos. There are 20 images capturing everything she experienced in 2025, continuing the Christmas tradition they began last year.
First, Felipe and Letizia’s albums were released separately, then Leonor’s, and now it’s Sofia’s turn.

The first photo is already special because it’s from her first week in Lisbon, where she moved to study at Forward College. That was one of the biggest changes of her year, leaving Wales and starting a new chapter in the Portuguese capital.

Among the photos are several previously unpublished ones that are excellent. One is from Valdesoto, an exemplary town in Asturias, where she is shown sitting in a vintage car. They had already posted a picture of her and Leonor in that car, but this one is from a different angle with the passenger door open, and it looks better.

Another previously unseen photo is from the dinner following the Princess of Asturias Awards concert, an event that is always private. Sofia is seated next to Serena Williams and Eduardo Mendoza, both of whom were honored this year.

There is also a collage of three photos from her graduation at UWC Atlantic College in Wales, showing her wearing a red Mango jumpsuit as she receives her International Baccalaureate diploma. Her parents traveled to accompany her, and Leonor, who was at Elcano, saw her via video call.

One of the year’s most significant moments was her meeting with the President of Portugal, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, at the Belém Palace. Knowing that Sofia lives in Lisbon and being a family friend, he decided to invite her to spend an afternoon with him.
He was the first president she met with alone, just as Leonor did in 2024 on her first solo official trip to Portugal.

The album also features photos of Sofia with her father in Marín when Leonor was awarded the Grand Cross of Naval Merit, with Letizia and her sister strolling through Palma during the summer while watching the documentary ‘In a Place of the Mind,’ and at the audience with members of United World Colleges, where she was reunited with her classmates from Atlantic College.

The remaining images are a review of moments we already knew about, but which mark their year. The embrace with her father after graduation, the Day of Hispanic Heritage, the photo from her 18th birthday, the Spain-England women’s soccer match where they met Prince William and Princess Charlotte, the Princess of Girona Awards, and some of her official activities.

The album portrays Sofia both personally and professionally, showcasing her steady growth through her education in Lisbon, her public engagements, and the small glimpses into her daily life that reveal her true self.
