Infanta Sofia’s farewell to UWC Atlantic College was marked by a significant image.
In one of the photos shared by the Welsh school after the graduation ceremony, the youngest daughter of King Felipe and Queen Letizia can be seen in an embrace with several classmates.

The scene reflects the strong bond that she forged during the two years of boarding school and that put an end to a stage.
The graduation ceremony took place last weekend, with the presence of the King and Queen of Spain, who showed their closeness and complicity with their daughter.
Princess Leonor was unable to attend because she was on board the training ship Juan Sebastián Elcano, although she sent a message of congratulations.
The school, in its official farewell, spoke of friendships that will last a lifetime and of a legacy based on values such as compassion and commitment.
“You leave this castle by the sea not just with knowledge, but with compassion, resilience and a fierce commitment to making the world a better place,” was part of the message.
With the International Baccalaureate now behind her, Sofia faces a summer of rest before defining her next step.
For now it is known that she will not follow the military training of her older sister. It is expected, however, that her institutional role will grow after coming of age in April.
