Infanta Sofia’s Graduation in Wales
The ceremony, known as the “Leavers Ceremony”, will be held at the historic St Donat’s Castle and can be followed on the school’s YouTube channel.
Although it is a private event, the Royal Family will share some images if conditions permit.
King Felipe and Queen Letizia are expected to accompany their youngest daughter on this significant day.
On the other hand, Princess Leonor will not be able to be present. While Sofia receives her diploma, her sister will be leaving Santo Domingo for New York to finish her voyage aboard the training ship Juan Sebastian Elcano.
The distance will mark this moment between the sisters, who have always shown a close relationship.
The day will include performances and a farewell lunch for students and families, in a more relaxed atmosphere.
At the end of the day, all the students should have gathered their belongings and left the campus, bringing their pre-university stage to a definitive close.
Sofia will receive a diploma signed by the school’s director, Naheed Bardai, highlighting the confidence in her talent to contribute to peace and sustainability.
