The Infanta Sofia took a few days off from her classes at the UWC Atlantic College in Wales to attend one of the most important events of the Spanish royal family: the Princess of Asturias Awards.
During the various official engagements, the youngest daughter of King Felipe and Queen Letizia demonstrated her unique and modern style with youthful outfits that quickly sold out in stores.
However, her originality has been questioned due to her recent choice of outfits.
Look Infanta Sofia in the best town of Asturias
At the Best Town in Asturias event, Sofia, 16, decided to take inspiration from the style of her older sister, Princess Leonor.
She wore a pair of wide ecru pants with frayed hems, similar to Leonor’s, and the same sneakers, but in white.
She paired the pants with a teal sweater and a military green jacket, a color palette very similar to Leonor’s.
Unlike her sister, Sofia wore her hair down, with a small detail of a braid in the front to keep the wind from blowing in her face.
During the event, Sofia shared moments and complicit gestures with her sister and the rest of the royal family.
Unfortunately, she could not stay to enjoy the rest of the day, as reported by Vanitatis magazine, as she returned to Wales to resume her studies at UWC Atlantic College.
However, she will return to Spain on October 27 to begin her fall vacation, just in time to celebrate Princess Leonor’s 18th birthday on October 31.
