The Infanta Sofia is in her second year of her international baccalaureate at the prestigious UWC Atlantic College in Wales, a crucial stage in her academic training.

Despite her study load, the youngest daughter of the King and Queen of Spain knows how to balance her responsibilities with moments of leisure and activities that she thoroughly enjoys.

During the weekends, when there are no classes, Sofia takes the opportunity to disconnect with her classmates.

The school offers a wide range of activities, and Sofia does not hesitate to join them. Among these are the survival days she took part in last year, in which she tested her endurance and skills in natural environments.

“It was an unforgettable experience for her and her classmates,” say sources close to the school. These survival activities are similar to those that her sister, Princess Leonor, completed during her first year of military training.

“Leonor and Sofia have always been very close, so I’m sure Leonor gave her some useful advice,” the same sources added to the portal Monarquía Confidencial.

However, not everything in Infanta Sofia’s life revolves around nature and physical challenges. There is something she is even more passionate about: soccer.

Despite being far from Madrid, Sofia has not stopped practicing the sport she loves the most.

“Whenever she can, she plays soccer with her teammates on weekends. She is very good and enjoys the game very much,” say sources close to Zarzuela.

Sofia has proven to be a big soccer fan for a long time. In fact, before moving to Wales, she tried out for the C.D. DUX International Madrid Football Academy, although she was unable to continue due to her academic commitments. Even so, her love for this sport is still present and she does not miss any opportunity to practice it.

In addition, she has also been seen exploring the shops in Llantwit Major, a small town near the school.

Thus, between studies, soccer and survival activities, the Infanta Sofia finds a way to enjoy her free time in Wales.
