Princess Leonor is already at the General Academy of Zaragoza to receive her military training.
The heiress to the throne joined the center like the rest of the cadets who begin their studies.
According to the official calendar of the Academy for this course, the first phase of welcome, orientation, and adaptation will take place until August 30.

Will Spain’s Infanta Sofia receive military training?
The King and Queen of Spain are very involved in the future training of the Infanta Sofia, 16.
According to the Spanish portal Monarquía Confidencial, sources close to La Zarzuela have revealed that Felipe VI and Letizia have decided that they will consult their youngest daughter when she finishes her studies in Wales if she would like to acquire military training.
The Infanta Sofia will travel at the end of August to Wales, where she will study the International Baccalaureate at UWC Atlantic College, the same school where Princess Leonor finished her studies on May 20, 2023.
This new chapter in Sofia’s life will be especially significant, as for the first time she will have to live away from her parents, far from home, and from the protocol and institutional demands of her residence in Zarzuela.
Infanta Sofia’s personality
The daughters of the kings show a different personality, and this is sometimes manifested in their outward behavior. Leonor and Sofia are barely two years apart and both have acquired very different personalities.
Leonor is aware that she is the heir to the throne, a factor that can weigh on her when it comes to being natural, while Sofia is more “approachable” than her sister, according to some experts.
“She is more extroverted than Leonor, although it is true that we never see them on a free stage, so it is complicated for them to act naturally,” revealed royal photographer José Gegúndez.
The infanta usually appears looser and more informal, even so, Sofia has always kept a discreet background.

Despite the role each must take, they are inseparable. They both share their taste for music, cinema, and theater, although Sofia dissociates herself from Leonor in one of her passions: soccer, which she follows closely as a fan, and even enjoys practicing as a sportswoman.
