Infanta Sofia reappeared in public on Tuesday during an event at the Zarzuela Palace, accompanying her parents at an audience with the Board of Trustees of the Spanish Committee of the United World Colleges Foundation.
Although her presence was not on the official agenda, she decided to join the meeting with the students selected for this international network of colleges, where she herself studied for the last two years.
The 18-year-old shared a relaxed moment with the new students while the king and queen presided over the meeting.
For those who have just secured a place at UWC, having someone who has lived through that experience nearby was surely a motivating gesture.
Sofía was not oblivious to the attention her reappearance attracted after months without public appearances, but she appeared comfortable and smiling alongside her parents.
As for her look, she chose a jade green dress from Zara that she had already worn last summer in Mallorca.
Originally part of Queen Letizia’s wardrobe, the Infanta wore it without a belt or accessories, with a loose, summery silhouette.
She completed the outfit with flat pointed-toe ballet flats that added a metallic, practical, and elegant touch.
