The Infanta Sofia continues her educational journey in Wales, where she is in her final year of high school.
Recently, she participated in an open day at her school, the UWC Atlantic College, an event that brought together family and students, although the King and Queen of Spain could not be present.

According to the website Monarquia Confidencial, despite the absence of her parents, Sofia was enthusiastic and enjoyed the festive atmosphere.
Together with her classmates, she celebrated a special day that became known as “the world day of the UWC mission and values”.
During the day, the students presented cultural performances, and Sofia was particularly interested in the music and food of the Ibero-Latins, according to sources close to the event.
Although the absence of Felipe VI and Letizia was notable, it was made clear that they were unable to attend due to their official commitments.
“The kings have a much busier schedule than other parents who were able to come,” sources explained.
However, both Sofia and her sister Leonor are used to this situation and have learned to value the time they spend as a family, enjoying themselves to the fullest when they manage to get together.
This year, Sofia has taken an active role in welcoming new students, something other students have done with her in the past.
Her responsibility includes showing them around the facilities and guiding them through the school rules. This leadership not only demonstrates her maturity, but also her ability to connect with young people from diverse cultures, which is critical in the multicultural environment at UWC Atlantic College.
First solo act
Sofia is counting down the days until her debut solo institutional event. This event is expected to take place before Christmas, where she will sponsor a photo contest bearing her name.
Until now, she has been accompanied by her family, but this will be her first solo engagement.
Despite the pressure that this new challenge may mean, Infanta Sofia is known to be excited. “She is ready to take on this challenge, just as she has done on previous occasions with the support of her parents,” they said.
