The Infanta Sofia is about to begin a different stage than that of her sister Leonor, and she will do so in Lisbon. She will live there while studying at Forward College, a private university with an international plan that will then take her to Paris and Berlin.
But what has aroused the most curiosity is the residence in which she will settle in the Portuguese capital.
The center is a modern building in the Benfica neighborhood, half an hour from the campus. The rooms are divided into two types, Suite and Studio, with a private bathroom, bed and desk.
We are not talking about ostentatious luxury, but rather bright and well thought-out spaces so that each student has privacy. Even so, there are common areas such as the kitchen or the laundry, which maintains a certain air of coexistence.
In addition to the individual rooms, the residence includes a gym, study rooms, a community lounge and even a private garden.
An interesting detail is its proximity to the Monsanto Forest Park, ideal for outdoor activities, and the subway, which connects directly to the center of Lisbon. Everything is designed so that students have a balance between academic and personal life.
Of course, all this adds to the final bill. The degree in Political Science and International Relations costs around $21,700 a year, plus the rent for the residence, which is between $700 and $890 a month.
Undoubtedly, an education not suitable for all budgets, but a mandatory step for Sofia in her educational path.
