Infanta Sofia Follows in Sister Leonor’s Footsteps.

The youngest daughter of the kings of Spain, like her sister Princess Leonor, has undergone survival training.

Recently, Leonor has been demonstrating her independence and survival skills since joining the General Military Academy on August 17.

She has been applying her theoretical knowledge to survive during maneuvers.

Infanta Sofia took part in similar exercises last weekend. She and her classmates participated in survival training at the ‘Celtic’ camp in Wales.

They tested their survival skills and enjoyed connecting with nature.

According to sources close to UWC Atlantic College, “These days are for bonding and getting to know each other, though they are not as tough and strict as the ones Leonor is currently undergoing.”

Princess Leonor had completed the same exercise during her first year of high school there.

The sources added, “Leonor and Sofia are very close, so Leonor likely shared some survival tips with her sister.”

    Farewell to Second-Year Students

After the second-year high school students left, Infanta Sofia and her first-year classmates went camping from May 19 to 22.

This was not Sofia’s first retreat during her time at UWC Atlantic College.

She and her classmates had also participated in activities the weekend before the second-year students’ graduation.

Most of the participants in these activities were from the ‘Afrocarib’ group, which includes students from countries in the Middle East, Africa, and Saudi Arabia.

Sources said, “They ate pizza and had a very pleasant afternoon.”

The ‘Afrocarib’ group also engages in educational and cultural activities, such as the ‘Afrocarib National Day,’ where they present traditional dances and cultures.
