Infanta Sofia has lived a unique experience at the UWC Atlantic College in Wales by participating in the carnivals organized by the institution.
As part of this festivity, students were free to choose their costumes, a decision that, in her case, generated a curious anecdote.
Infanta Sofia at UWC Carnivals
According to sources close to the school, a Spanish classmate proposed to the Infanta to dress up as a soldier, an idea that made reference to the uniforms that her sister, Princess Leonor, has worn in her military training.
However, Sofia laughingly rejected the suggestion, making it clear that she preferred another costume option.
A Cautious Decision
Although Sofia’s refusal was spontaneous and relaxed, there are those who consider that her choice reflects a concern to avoid any kind of controversy.
In an international context such as that of her school, where students of diverse nationalities and cultures coexist, a military outfit could have generated misinterpretations or even unfortunate comments.
A Carnival with a Solidarity Purpose
The event, held on February 22, at the school’s tennis court, was a time of fun and solidarity.
Various games were organized and meals were offered in order to raise funds and donations for children in conflict zones.
This initiative aligns with the core values of UWC Atlantic College, which promotes peace, sustainability and multicultural coexistence.
No Trace of Sofia on Social Media
Despite the college’s active presence on social networks, so far no images of the Infanta have been published during the carnival.
This has generated curiosity among some followers of the Spanish Royal Family, who have expressed their interest in seeing Sofia participating in the activities.
However, the center’s policy regarding her privacy remains firm.
Sources close to the center have confirmed that any relevant images of the Infanta would be published exclusively by the Royal Household, thus maintaining control over her public presence.
