Infanta Sofia stood out as one of the central figures in the events associated with the Princess of Girona Awards ceremony, which took place on July 10.
Both her wardrobe and that of her sister, Princess Leonor, captured the attention of the public and the media however, other aspects also captured the general interest, such as the visible scar on her leg, a detail that has generated various conversations and speculations.
Infanta Sofia’s scar
The Infanta Sofia, with innate elegance, opted for an outfit that subtly revealed the evolution of the injury she suffered on her leg, evidencing the residual scar naturally and without reservation.
She stood out on the occasion in an ethereal bohemian-style dress, dyed in a vibrant blue.
This design, with wide sleeves and a delicate gathering just below the bust to accentuate the silhouette, had a cut that ended just above the knees, where the aforementioned scar is located.
We recall that four years ago, the Royal Family of Spain went through moments of concern when Infanta Sofia experienced a considerable accident that required stitches in one of her knees.
Back then, in August 2020 and in the midst of the pandemic, a Sofia as young as twelve years old appeared at a public event wearing a prominent bandage on her knee and leaning on crutches.
It was rumored at the time that the young Infanta’s fall was the cause of the injury that required up to five stitches.
Currently, the most recent images of the Infanta show that the scar has healed remarkably, being barely perceptible, and highlight the confidence with which Sofia exhibits it, a gesture that denotes pride and acceptance of her personal history.
