Last Saturday, August 31, the wedding of Victoria Lopez-Quesada, goddaughter of King Felipe, to Enrique Moreno de la Cova, brought together several members of the royal family in Madrid.
Infanta Cristina, 59, was one of the featured guests, arriving at the event in the car driven by her brother, King Felipe VI.
This image of the two together, after years of estrangement, became one of the most talked about moments of the day.
Infanta Cristina’s guest outfit
Cristina, once again, has shown that it is not necessary to resort to a dress to dazzle as a guest.
On this occasion, the infanta opted for a combination of white blouse and a printed skirt, a perfect choice for guests over 50 years old.
The white blouse is a classic garment that always guarantees a touch of distinction. It was loose-fitting for comfort and had a distinctive collar that captured attention.
She paired it with a long skirt in elegant shades of navy blue, black and gray, adorned with an original print that added a touch of romanticism to the ensemble.
This choice not only stood out for its elegance, but also for its comfort: high-waisted and wide cut, the skirt allows to move without worries and stylizes the figure in a natural way.
As for her hairstyle, she opted for a simple updo that, in addition to adding elegance, left the spotlight on the outfit and the jewelry she wore: earrings and a necklace that added the exclusive touch to her look.
Infanta Elena in a dress by Elie Saab
On the other hand, Infanta Elena also stood out with her choice for the wedding.
The sister of King Felipe VI, she wore a dress by renowned designer Elie Saab.
This choice could not have been more successful, as the dress helped the daughter of the King and Queen Emeritus to shine at the event.
The dress, valued at over $2,700, featured a black polka dot print on a white background, with an elegant shirt collar, crossover neckline, short sleeves, cut at the waist and a midi skirt with a flounce.
A black leather belt, pumps in the same tone and a clutch, completed the look of the Infanta Elena, highlighting her classic and sophisticated style.
Both sisters, Cristina and Elena, managed to stand out at the celebration, demonstrating that each has her own unique approach to fashion.
