Irene, the youngest daughter of Infanta Cristina and Iñaki Urdangarin, has had to see how her father has rebuilt his life with Ainhoa Armentia but she has also had to console her mother with whom she lives in Switzerland. The young woman is very independent as are her brothers Juan, Pablo and Miguel.
Irene Urdangarin, 16, leads a life typical of a young girl of her age. Her day to day life consists of going to class, meeting her friends for brunch, playing tennis or keeping up with the latest trends in the fashion world. According to the website Vanitatis, Irene and Cristina always went shopping together, but now she does it alone or with her friends.
Irene Urdangarin loves to travel. With her friends she usually goes skiing in the Alps, and also travels without the company of her parents to Barcelona or Vitoria, demonstrating that independence that at 16 years old characterizes her.
Besides being very independent, she is also very familiar and maintains a close relationship with her cousin Carlota Gui, who has just become a mother.
Despite Irene’s freedom, she is still financially dependent on Princess Cristina.
