Irene Urdangarin, 17, the daughter of Iñaki and Infanta Cristina, is rarely seen in public. However, the granddaughter of the emeritus King and Queen of Spain joined the rest of her family and traveled to Greece for the last farewell to King Constantine.
The monarch was buried this Monday, January 16, 2023, six days after he passed away from a stroke at the age of 82. The funeral gathered all the borbones including the grandchildren of the emeritus. The great absentees were Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia.
Irene Urdangarin at the funeral of Constantine of Greece
The youngest daughter of the Infanta Cristina surprised with how beautiful and changed she is. Despite the solemn panorama of the funeral, there was no lack of people who noticed how big the young girl, who will turn 18 this year, looks now.
The young girl arrived at the Cathedral with her grandparents, her mother Infanta Cristina, her aunt Infanta Elena, her cousins Victoria Federica and Juan Froilán; and her siblings Juan, Pablo and Miguel. The emeritus king and queen led the walk while the rest of the family remained behind keeping discretion.
Like the others, Irene dressed in black with a coat of the same tone with length a little above the knees, wore black stockings and thick heeled shoes with classic design.
The touch of elegance was her discreet makeup with which she highlighted features of her face and her eyes. The style of her hair also favored her, as she wore it loose with a middle parting and behind her ears to clear her face even more.
In other images she walked accompanied by the arm of her brother, Pablo Urdangarin, who already looks fully recovered from the injury that took him out of the court in one of his handball matches.
