Is Princess Leonor the favorite? Felipe and Letizia’s gesture showing preference between their daughters

King Felipe and Queen Letizia have tried to bring their daughters up in a very close relationship.

The King and Queen of Spain, Letizia and Felipe, have always been known for raising their daughters, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia, as closely as possible, despite the fact that they have very different destinies.

Leonor is destined to be the future Queen of Spain and has received an education befitting her role.

She is currently studying at the Military Academy in Zaragoza, after two years at the UWC Atlantic College in Wales and her school years at the Santa Maria de los Rosales School in Madrid.

The Infanta Sofía, two years younger than her sister, followed a similar path.

She studied at the same school in Madrid and is now in Wales attending UWC Atlantic College.

It is not known if she will also enter the Military Academy at the end of her studies, since she is not an heiress and is not obliged to do so.

So far, everything seems normal. However, some Spanish media have pointed out a detail that could indicate a preference for one of the sisters.

Is Princess Leonor the favorite of King Felipe and Queen Letizia?

According to some reports, a gesture by the kings of Spain could reveal that they have a certain preference for their eldest daughter.

King Felipe and Queen Letizia have tried to bring their daughters up in a very close relationship.

The gesture has to do with a family tradition that consists of sharing the “roscón de Reyes” every January 6th at the home of Jesús Ortiz, the father of Queen Letizia.

The “roscón de reyes” it is a traditional ring-shaped candy made of sweet dough flavored with orange blossom water. It is decorated with candied fruits that simulate the jewels of a crown.

This year was the first in which the Infanta Sofía could not be present, since she had to return to Wales on January 3 to continue her studies.

However, when Leonor was studying in Wales, the King and Queen brought the celebration forward so that they could all be together.

Although the reason why the royals did not do the same with Sofia is unknown, this fact could generate all kinds of speculation as many wonder why they have this detail with one daughter and not the other.
