As Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign gains traction, various celebrities and political figures have endorsed her. Among the speculation, some fans wonder if Meghan Markle, now living in the U.S. with Prince Harry, might join her supporters.

Since stepping back from royal duties in 2020, Meghan has been suggested as a potential political figure herself.

Before marrying Prince Harry, Meghan was already a vocal advocate for women’s rights and in 2020, alongside Harry, she urged Americans to vote.

Despite her advocacy, Meghan has not publicly endorsed a presidential candidate or disclosed her political affiliations.

Kamala Harris, before becoming Vice President, did share her thoughts on Meghan.

Kamala Harris Praises Meghan Markle’s Strength

After Meghan Markle’s 2018 marriage to Prince Harry, the couple voiced their issues with the British tabloid press.

In 2019, during their South African tour, they announced lawsuits against certain publishers. During this trip, they participated in a documentary where Meghan first opened up about her struggles with the media and royal life.

In an interview with Tom Bradby, Meghan was asked about her mental health amidst the media scrutiny. She candidly replied, “Thank you for asking, because not many people have asked if I’m OK. But it’s a very real thing to be going through behind the scenes.”

Royal biographer Omid Scobie shared this clip on X, prompting a response from Harris:

“This is incredibly important. We must remember that it’s a sign of strength to show emotion. Meghan, we are with you.”
