The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, is focused on gradually reintegrating into her responsibilities as a member of the royal family after being away from the public sphere for nine months due to health problems.
In January, Kate underwent abdominal surgery, and in March, she was diagnosed with cancer.
This situation led her to focus on her recovery through chemotherapy treatment. Fortunately, this process culminated successfully.
On September 9, Kate shared a touching video in which she celebrated the end of her treatment.
In this message, she expressed her commitment to remain free of the disease and her intention to return to her activities.
“Doing what I can to stay cancer-free is now my focus. Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long, and I must continue to take each day as it comes,” Princess Kate said in part of the message.
The Princess of Wales’ longing to resume her work seems to be materializing sooner than expected, as she has begun to participate in various activities.
On September 26, she made a prominent appearance at a ballet-related event.
Kate Middleton at Sadler’s Wells Theatre
On this occasion, Kate Middleton privately attended a matinee performance of “Giselle,” presented by the English National Ballet at the Sadler’s Wells Theatre in London.
As reported by People, Kate enjoyed the performance so much that she decided to share a message about it.
“Congratulations and thank you to @ENBallet and @Sadlers_Wells for the wonderfully powerful, moving, and inspiring performance of Akram Khan’s Giselle. Creativity at its best!” the Princess of Wales wrote on X, posting a photo of artists on stage in the ballet.
The Princess signed her message with the initial “C,” following a common practice she and her husband, Prince William, use in their personal communications.
Kate has shown a keen interest in ballet and, on previous occasions, has taken her daughter, Princess Charlotte, 9, to performances of the art.
September 17 marked her first official engagement since the end of chemotherapy when she held a gathering focused on her child development project at Windsor Castle.
Since early summer, Kate has begun working from home and is expected to attend the Remembrance Day service on November 10.
Her return to royal duties is a testament to her resilience and dedication to both her family and public service.
