As London is transfixed with Elizabeth II’s coffin at Westminster Abbey, some members of the British royal family continue to cope with their responsibilities amid mourning the death of Queen Elizabeth II. Such is the case of Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, who are already beginning to assume their role as Prince and Princess of Wales.
Next Monday, September 19, the Queen’s funeral will take place, a religious service that will bring together a large list of guests including several heads and former heads of state, as well as world leaders.
Kate Middleton at Sandringham in a coat dress
William and Kate Middleton have traveled to Sandringham to meet with Commonwealth troops who have deployed to the United Kingdom to take part in the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II. Soldiers from Canada, Australia and New Zealand have gathered to rehearse their duties.
There, at the Pirbright Army Training Centre in Guildford, the princess was seen giving a class of elegance dressed in mourning, wearing a military-style coat dress with shoulder pads, buttons and a matching headdress.
The Princess of Wales has decided to dispense with the leaf-shaped brooch with pearls, diamonds and yellow gold that belonged to Elizabeth II. She has also worn the pearl and diamond teardrop-shaped earrings that belonged to Lady Di. Undoubtedly, this outfit has attracted all eyes for its perfection.
