Princess Kate will join Princes William, George, Louis and Princess Charlotte for the annual summer vacation at Balmoral, the Royal Family’s most cherished Scottish estate.
Balmoral has long been a favorite summer retreat for the monarchy, a tradition that the late Queen Elizabeth II upheld with gatherings that included barbecues and Highland walks.
King Charles has continued this family tradition, with the Waleses, Edinburghs, and Yorks all expected to join him this summer.
However, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not be attending the summer festivities as had been rumored.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not participated in this tradition since they ceased to be active members of the Royal Family in 2020.
Kate Middleton summer vacations at Balmoral
This summer trip marks a significant milestone for Princess Kate, as it will be the longest journey she has undertaken since her cancer diagnosis earlier this year.
For Princess Kate’s fans, this trip is a positive indicator in updating her health status, due to the few public appearances.
Her first appearance was on June 15 at the Trooping the Colour, where she was accompanied by her children, Prince George (11), Princess Charlotte (9), and Prince Louis (6).
Her second public outing was on July 14 during the men’s singles final at Wimbledon, where she was joined by Princess Charlotte and her sister, Pippa Matthews.
During this event, Kate had the honor of presenting trophies to Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic.
