Kate Middleton is back, and she is doing it in a big way. The Princess of Wales accompanied Prince William on one of the most significant dates on the British royal agenda.

Both took part in a religious service at Guildhall, where they had the opportunity to meet with 50 brave Holocaust survivors.

This event, which took place on January 27, commemorates the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, a historic event that brought together representatives of various European monarchies in Poland, as we have already reported here on Royal Family.news.

The service was held in the heart of the city, and before the ceremony began, Kate and William had a very emotional meeting with some of the survivors.

Among them were Stephen Frank and Yvonne Bernstein, a couple whom Kate reunited with after five years.

In 2020, the Princess had photographed the couple and their grandchildren for an exhibition organized by the Imperial War Museum to mark the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.

The idea behind that photo shoot was to highlight the life that this courageous duo built in the UK after their arrival in the late 1940s.

This appearance by Kate is especially significant, as it was her first official activity since announcing that she was in remission from her cancer.

In fact, she made a last-minute decision to join Prince William at this Holocaust Remembrance Day commemoration ceremony.

For the occasion, Kate opted for an elegant and sober look, wearing an all-black outfit that included pants, a blouse, and a long coat of the same tone.

And, of course, there was no shortage of special details: she wore pearl earrings from Bahrain, which previously belonged to Queen Elizabeth, and which she had already worn on Remembrance Day.

She accompanied her look with a pearl necklace and bracelets that perfectly complemented her outfit.

Undoubtedly, this event not only marks the return of Kate Middleton, but also underlines the commitment of the British royals in remembering and honoring those who have suffered throughout history.

It is an important time to reflect on and celebrate the strength of those who have survived adversity, much like Kate in her battle with cancer.
