Kate Middleton, sporting a Christmas sweater announced that she will again hold her annual carol service at Westminster Abbey on Dec. 8.
The service has become a royal tradition and this year will offer both traditional and modern elements for people of all faiths.
Christmas Carol Service 2023
This year, the Christmas carol service will have a special focus on early childhood to reflect Kate’s Shaping Us campaign, which highlights the importance of the early formative years.
Guests will include midwives, nursery teachers, and others who support young children and families.
The King and other members of the royal family are likely to attend, along with Prince William and the couple’s two eldest children.
Musical guests who will perform popular Christmas music include Beverley Knight, Adam Lambert, Jacob Collier, Freya Ridings and James Bay.
The service will also feature the Westminster Abbey Choir performing classical carols.
The event allows Kate to give back and say thank you to those who work with children and families in need. In that spirit, guests have been nominated by Lords Lieutenants, and charities linked to various royals.
Kate Middleton Christmas sweater by Holland Cooper Fairisle Knit
One thing that caught the attention of observers was the photograph chosen for the ad.
It was a photo from Christmas 2022 where Kate was promoting her 2022 Christmas concert, ‘Together at Christmas’. For the occasion, the princess wore a beautiful cream-colored Christmas sweater by Holland Cooper.
Specifically, it is a traditional ‘Fairisle” knitted print design with a high collar, perfect for pairing with jeans.
Characteristic of this sweater are the iconic gold hardware details on both the cuff and shoulders.
It is a sweater made from a blend of nylon, alpaca, and wool for extra warmth in the colder months.
Kate Middleton’s Christmas sweater is available on the brand’s website for £179.00, about 224 US dollars at the exchange rate.
