Despite the great absence of Queen Elizabeth II for the Commonwealth Day events, Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, managed to make up for that absence and conquer everyone with her look.
As every second Monday of March, the British monarchy celebrates the union of the 54 countries that make up the Commonwealth, this was the first time that the royal family returned to Westminster Abbey for the religious service, after the pause caused by the crisis caused by the pandemic of covid-19.

Prince Charles, his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Prince William and Kate Middleton were in charge of the event that every year was headed by the Queen. Undoubtedly, one of the family members who stood out the most was the Duchess of Cambridge.
Kate appeared in a premiere outfit. It is a coat in a beautiful shade of blue with lapels in darker velvet, matching her shoes, designed by Catherine Walker, a favorite of the Duchess.
She paired the outfit with a headdress in the same shade as the coat, in a round shape with a bow at the back. She completed the whole blue look with a tender nod to her mother in law, Princess Diana, wearing the sapphire earrings and pendant of the same material that belonged to the mother of Prince William.
For this celebration, the royal staff was quite reduced, since the last event of this type that counted with the whole family was in 2019, before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made official their departure from the monarchy.
