Reports have emerged claiming Kate Middleton had a tense confrontation with Prince Harry in the hours leading up to Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral.
Sources claim she accused him of “betraying” the royals.
Kate Middleton confronted Prince Harry
According to Now to Love reports, Kate took Harry aside privately at Buckingham Palace prior to the Queen’s funeral ceremony.
Insiders claim she expressed hurt over his explosive memoir and media interviews blasting the royals.
Kate told Harry she felt betrayed by his damaging actions against the family. She reportedly said his conduct had driven a deep wedge between him and Prince William.
Though William did not participate, it’s believed he gave Kate approval to speak to his brother alone.
Princess supposedly reminded Harry of their once close bond, questioning why he would “hurt his own family” as he did.
With tensions high amid funeral preparations, Kate seemingly felt compelled to confront Harry.
As a devastated nation mourned the Queen, she allegedly saw it as the only chance to face him.
“Kate knew this would be the only time she could speak to Harry before he closed himself off from the family again,” says an insider.
Per insider accounts, Kate bluntly asked Harry why he betrayed the royals after years of warm relations.
The estrangement has worsened and Kate apparently feels as if she too has lost a sibling.
“Kate never thought in a million years that Harry would hurt his own family like this,” adds the insider.
Buckingham Palace has not commented on the alleged confrontation.
But it is important to note that when the Queen died the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had not released the Netflix docuseries and Harry had not released his memoirs.
So Kate would only have as a reason to confront Harry their estrangement and the explosive interview that the Sussex offered to Oprah.
