All kinds of theories are circulating on social media about Kate Middleton’s health and the strange events surrounding the British royal family.
The secrecy maintained by Kensington Palace since it was announced on January 17 that the Princess of Wales had undergone abdominal surgery has fueled all kinds of conspiracy theories.
Concern over Kate Middleton’s disappearance has grown, the princess has been missing for two months, and there are no photos, no videos.
In the absence of visual evidence, all kinds of theories about Kate Middleton’s health are beginning to spread.
Timeline: Kate Middleton’s disappearance
The last time Kate Middleton was seen in public was on December 25, 2023, during the royal family’s annual Christmas walk to church service at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham.
For that occasion, Kate wore a royal blue coat with a matching hat and tall boots. She looked radiant and smiling.
According to Spanish journalist Concha Calleja, on December 28, 2023, Kate was hospitalized.
The journalist assured that the princess was ill before her admission to the hospital allegedly last December 28.
“Although they say it was not an emergency, the operation was indeed with some urgency,” Calleja said.
Despite learning more about the operation from sources close to the palace, Calleja has remained tight-lipped about the exact nature of the surgery, mentioning only that “it was not a simple operation.”
Officially on January 17, 2024, Kensington Palace announced that Kate Middleton underwent “planned abdominal surgery” and would remain in the hospital for 10 to 14 days.
But something in the statement raised the suspicions of royal observers.
It was reported that the surgery was “planned,” yet at the same time it said that the princess should postpone her upcoming engagements and would not take up public duties until after Easter.

Social media began to question the alleged “planning of the operation”.
Many wondered, why the Princess of Wales would have scheduled engagements during the recovery period.
Immediately, minutes after Kate Middleton’s statement, Buckingham Palace announced that King Charles sought treatment for an enlarged prostate and would go to the hospital a week later for a “corrective procedure”.
Once again the suspicions of Internet users are once again aroused. For some, it was very curious that both surgeries were announced on the same day, but Kate’s was announced after she had been operated on, while Charles III’s was announced a week in advance.
“His Majesty’s condition is benign and he will attend hospital next week for a corrective procedure,” a Buckingham Palace spokesman said.
On January 18, 2024, Prince William is photographed leaving the clinic after visiting his wife.
That same day it was reported that the Prince of Wales was suspending his public engagements to attend to his wife and support his family.
Bad news would come for the royal family. On January 21, 2024, Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York and former wife of Prince Andrew was diagnosed with skin cancer after being treated for breast cancer in June 2023.
On January 26, 2024, King Charles III underwent prostate surgery at The London Clinic, the same private London hospital where his daughter-in-law, Kate Middleton, was recovering from abdominal surgery.
Thirteen days after undergoing surgery, Kensington Palace announced on January 29 that Kate had returned home to Windsor to continue her recovery.

The palace assured that her “progress is good” but netizens criticized the absence of photos.
That same day, King Charles is also discharged from the hospital and is photographed walking out with his wife, Queen Camilla.

Again, observers note something in the statement. It is said that Charles decided to share his diagnosis “to prevent speculation”, contrary to the “secrecy of the Welsh” regarding Kate’s health.
On February 7, Prince William undertakes his first official engagement since his wife’s release from hospital.

On the same day, Prince Harry flies from California to the UK to see his father after the announcement of his cancer diagnosis.
The following day the Duke of Sussex returns to California after 24 hours in the UK and after a 45-minute visit with his father.
On February 18, Prince William attended the 77th British Academy Film and Television Awards. He radiated an air of positivity.
February 23 marked 60 days since Kate Middleton was last seen in public.
At the same time, Buckingham released a video of the king reading the get-well cards sent to him.

Again, the royal family is rocked by bad news. On February 25, Thomas Kingston, husband of Lady Gabriella Windsor was found dead at the age of 45 with a gunshot wound to the head and a gun next to the body.
On February 27, Prince William did not attend the funeral of his godfather, the late King Constantine of Greece, due to a “personal matter”. The prince would do a reading at the ceremony.
Rumors about Kate Middleton’s health resurfaced again due to William’s sudden absence, immediately from Kensington Palace assured that the Princess of Wales “doing well”.
Before the rumors and theories about Kate’s disappearance, on February 29 a spokesman for the princess said:
“We were very clear from the outset that the Princess of Wales would not be traveling until after Easter and that Kensington Palace would only provide updates if there was something significant to report. The spokeswoman reiterated that the princess, 42, was “doing well.”
Nearly 70 days on, Kate Middleton’s disappearance remains glaringly obvious.
Many criticize the lack of transparency as it contrasts with the more open approach to King Charles’ health.
In the absence of Kate and Charles, royal duties have fallen to older members of the royal family.
Queen Camilla, 76, Princess Anne, 73, Prince Edward, 59, and Duchess Sophie, 59, are taking on the lion’s share of the duties.
