Kate Middleton, attended this Wednesday, May 25, one of the Garden Party, which as every spring is held in the gardens of Buckingham Palace and brings together various sectors of society.
The Duchess of Cambridge has become the perfect hostess and stand-in for Queen Elizabeth II at this year’s traditional garden parties.
Kate, Prince William, along with Prince Edward and his wife, Sophie of Wessex, were the hosts this year. The Queen was the great absentee at this event, as Her Majesty had a busy few days after weeks of suspending her official activities due to health difficulties.

Kate Middleton dress at the Garden Party
As has become her tradition, Prince William’s wife once again left a memorable look. Kate is known for pulling out old pieces from her closet to give them a new style. For this event she once again opted for a dress that had been in storage for a long time.
Prince William’s wife wore a beautiful mint green dress in which she was first seen during the 50th anniversary of Prince Charles‘ investiture in 2019.
The dress was custom-made for Kate by a private dressmaker whose name was not disclosed. The garment in question has puffed sleeves, buttoning on the front and cuffs. It also has a pleated skirt.
She completed the look with a matching mint green headpiece, which included a floral detail on the side; sea green Jimmy Choo pumps; a pair of premiere chandelier earrings, crafted in yellow gold and moonstone.
The royals were photographed greeting and mingling with guests. William and Edward looked smart in black tailcoats, grey vests and striped pants, while the Countess of Wessex wore a bright blue monochromatic look.
