Article summary
Kate Middleton at the Anna Freud Centre in a beautiful green dress
With a beaming smile and palpable kindness, Kate arrived at the Ana Freud Center wearing a new green Suzannah dress, valued at just over $3,700. This dress has a 1940s-inspired design and features puffed sleeves, pleated sides, and a black double-breasted button-down with a belt attached. The most notable feature of this outfit was the large slit in the skirt, which allowed the princess to show off her legs.
Although we don’t know if it was due to the sleeves or the belt size, the dress made her look slimmer.
In addition to this green dress, Kate also has several Suzannah signature pieces in her closet, including a similar model in white that we saw her wear during the Wimbledon tournament in 2019.
As for accessories, Kate opted for her classic and traditional choice. She usually goes for nude pumps, which are always successful. However, on this occasion, she decided to take a bit of a risk with two-tone heels by Alessandra Rich. These shoes, made of beige leather with a black toe cap, added a touch of innovation to her ensemble. Definitely a good choice.
To contrast with the high dress price, Kate complemented her outfit with earrings from the low-cost brand Accessorize, which only cost a little over $10. This choice demonstrates the princess’s ability to combine luxury garments with affordable accessories, thus showing her versatility and fashion sense.
Kate Middleton committed to Mental Health
On this occasion we saw the Princess of Wales participate in a round table on mental health, where she had the opportunity to learn about the projects underway, the challenges faced by organizations, and the goals to eradicate the stigma associated with mental illness. It is worth noting that the Anna Freud Center is one of the Princess’s long-standing patronages.
It was lovely to meet with the students who co-created this toolkit, hearing more about what we can all do to look after ourselves this #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek and beyond.
