This past weekend, the Princess of Wales appeared deeply moved during her two public appearances honoring Britain’s war dead.
These touching moments marked the first time this year that Kate had attended back-to-back events.

On Saturday, November 9, 2024, Kate was seen at the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance held at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
As the solemn ceremony unfolded, many fans noticed the Princess seemingly overcome with emotion.
One video, which was shared widely, showed Kate with tight lips, visibly trying to hold back tears as she applauded.
The clip quickly went viral, with more than 215,800 views and 13,300 likes on TikTok.
Supportive comments flooded in, with one fan writing, “Such a beautiful and compassionate woman,” while another added, “I hope she gets better soon, she’s obviously still very fragile.”

The next day, on Remembrance Sunday, November 10, Kate attended the national service at the Cenotaph in London. She was seen alongside Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, watching from a balcony as King Charles III and Prince William laid wreaths in honor of the fallen soldiers.
This second appearance also showed Kate appearing emotional.
This public display of emotion comes after a challenging year for Kate. In early 2024, she underwent abdominal surgery, initially believed to be for a non-cancerous condition.
However, tests revealed the presence of cancer, which led to her starting a course of preventive chemotherapy.
In March, the Princess shared a heartfelt message her cancer diagnosis.
Kate completed her chemotherapy treatment in September but has not returned to full-time royal duties yet.
