In a recent video alongside Prince William, Princess Kate appeared wearing a ring that quickly caught the attention of royal watchers.
The couple, congratulating Team GB on their success at the Olympics, shared the message, but it was Kate’s choice of jewelry that set off a wave of speculation.
Kate Middleton’s New Ring
Eagle-eyed fans noticed that the Princess was wearing a different ring on her engagement finger, replacing her iconic sapphire engagement ring.
This change has sparked curiosity, especially since Kate has been largely absent from the public eye this year, following her announcement of a cancer diagnosis.
Aside from two major public appearances—Trooping the Colour in June and attending the Wimbledon men’s singles final in July—Kate has remained out of sight.
On social media, followers were quick to comment on the new ring. Some suggested it could be an eternity ring or a promise ring.
For the occasion Kate wore a Ralph Lauren Tori Breton striped top.
About the ring, Royal fashion enthusiast Remoulade Sauce, speculated that the ring could be a former promise ring of Prince William.
It would be a rose gold ring designed with pearls and several garnets.
Another observer offered a different theory, suggesting that the sapphire band might be an anniversary or eternity ring.
They commented, “The sapphire anniversary/eternity band is a lovely alternative to her engagement ring. It’s nice to have a ring with a lower profile for everyday casual wear.”
The ring has sparked a mix of opinions, with many agreeing that it’s a beautiful and practical choice.
One fan remarked, “Such a lovely message, they both look happy and relaxed. The sapphire band is a lovely alternative to her engagement ring. Nice to have a ring with a lower physical profile for everyday casual wear.” Another added, “That sapphire band sure looks far more practical for daily living, and it sure is pretty.”
As speculation continues, the ring remains a symbol of Kate’s enduring connection with her husband, Prince William
