At the beginning of January, Kate Middleton lived a moment of happiness that touched everyone: the Princess of Wales revealed that her cancer was in remission, after a complicated year of chemotherapy treatment.

Kate Middleton ski trip
Recently, the British royal family spent a few days of rest in the Alps, a getaway that seems to have been just what Kate needed.
Accompanied by her husband, Prince William, and their three children – Princess Charlotte, Prince George and Prince Louis – Kate enjoyed a Christmas vacation embraced by her family, the MailOnline reported.
According to local sources, Kate and her family behaved quite naturally. Although the ski resort staff and some restaurant workers recognized the royal family, most of those present did not notice their status.
They were seen enjoying hot drinks in the morning and sharing leisurely lunches, while chatting and laughing like any other family on vacation.
The presence of several security members was the only sign of their royal status, but even so, the atmosphere remained relaxed and unobtrusive.
A waiter in the area recalled that the Middleton family has been regular visitors to that ski resort and mentioned that, in addition to Kate, her sister Pippa is also a known presence there.
Seeing Kate so happy and enjoying her family time was a clear indication that her health is improving, a detail that many noted with pleasure.
The news of this getaway, comes after her 43rd birthday celebration, which was a prelude to her return to official engagements.
Upon returning to the UK, Kate attended her first solo event after more than a year. The occasion was a visit to the Royal Marsden Hospital in London, the place where she was treated.
On her social networks, Kate thanked the doctors for their unconditional support and shared with everyone the good news that her cancer was in remission, a personal victory that she celebrated with much gratitude.
