Kate Middleton has opted for a sober style in her latest outing with her husband, Prince William. The Princess combined a pair of skinny jeans with a basic top, both in black which matched perfectly with her new blazer.
The Princess of Wales and the Prince of Wales visited pupils at Madley Primary Forest School for an outdoor learning experience in the forest.
Kate Middleton in a new tweed blazer by Maje
The style of the future queen was of classic cut pieces where a new blazer from the French firm Maje stood out.
It is the Vincio model, which features a checkered pattern in gray, double-breasted, and buttons on the cuffs. Its original price was $425, but now the jacket can be purchased at $245.
Kate completed her styling with a basic black top and $445 See by Chloé lace-up flat boots, very appropriate for the occasion.
She also wore her Daniella Draper gold midnight moon Daniella Draper necklace personalized with the initials of her three children which are valued at $1,400.
As on her previous outing to MP High Down Prison in Surrey, Kate wore a double band-aid on her right hand, which held her index and middle fingers together.
The princess injured her fingers while playing with her children, Princes George, Charlotte, and Louis, on the trampoline at home. “It’s a small injury, nothing serious,” Kensington sources assured.
William and Kate outdoors
The royal couple watched as the children carved wood and learned among the trees and foliage.
The visit highlighted Madley Primary School’s dedication to outdoor education and the emphasis it places on the benefits it provides to pupils.
The school sees spending time outdoors in nature as an essential part of the curriculum and a way to enhance the overall well-being of its pupils.
The Prince and Princess of Wales seemed eager to take part in the hands-on activities.
Wearing goggles and protective gloves, Prince William cut logs with the students to help them build a den in the forest.
Kate was unable to don gloves because she has two fingers on her right hand bandaged.
The royal couple also gathered around a bonfire where the children roasted apple slices sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar over the flames.
Prince William commented that food always tastes better after cooking over a fire.
In addition to watching them carve and build dens, the Prince and Princess chatted with the students about their outdoor learning experiences.
The visit was a collaboration between The Prince’s Duchy of Cornwall and Madley Primary.
For the past 12 years, the Duchy has provided the school with the woodland that they use for their activities.
Over time, they have expanded the woodland available as the school’s outdoor education program has grown.
The day spent with the children allowed the Princes to support the outdoor learning initiatives and see firsthand how the school promotes conservation and environmental awareness.
