The new Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, continues unstoppable in her agenda after the death of Queen Elizabeth and this October 5, the wife of Prince William paid a visit to the maternity unit of the Royal Surrey Country Hospital.
During her tour she went through several areas of the hospital and chatted with some of the women admitted and even had the opportunity to hold a small premature baby that left a memorable and tender image.

For the occasion, the princess opted for a flattering autumn dress. It is a mustard-colored garment, an unusual color in her closet. The dress has a midi length, pleats on the skirt, elbow-length sleeves and a built-in fabric belt.
The dress is made of polyester and is by designer Karen Millen. The duchess combined the piece with navy blue heeled pumps and a suede clutch in the same color.
The wife of the heir to the throne, as she always does, sent a feminist message through her jewelry. Kate wore earrings by British brand Emily Mortimer inspired by Hera, the queen of the Greek gods and female empowerment, according to People.
Hera is the goddess of marriage, women and fertility. She was said to be the protector of women during childbirth, a clear nod to her visit to the specialized maternity unit.
The pieces are part of a collection that is inspired by “femininity and empowerment,” the manufacturer assured. The earrings are in the form of detachable drops of white gold and diamond.
