Kate Middleton is feeling better and better, and her recent plans are the best proof of that.
The Princess of Wales, who announced on September 9 that she had finished her cancer treatment, is now focused on enjoying quality time with her three children: Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6.
And speaking of enjoying herself, Kate has big plans for the spookiest night of the year: Halloween!
This celebration is not new to her and her little ones; in fact, it’s a family tradition to go trick-or-treating and enjoy the holiday.
Kate Middleton’s Halloween Celebration
Despite the challenges she has faced, cancer will not be an obstacle for the kids to have fun.
Currently, George, Charlotte and Louis are enjoying a school vacation with their parents at their Anmer Hall home, a place where the family usually retreats during school breaks.
This week, while the children are on vacation from Lambrook School, the family is expected to opt for their scariest outfits.
According to Grant Harrold, former butler to King Charles, quoted by The New York Post:
“Halloween is a holiday that the younger royals quite enjoy. The older Royals don’t really mark Halloween, so it’s not so much of an occasion for them.”
In previous years, Princess Kate has been actively involved in this celebration.
Harrold mentions that Kate is keen to keep things as normal as possible for the children, and going trick-or-treating could be her way of carrying on the tradition and making sure the little ones don’t miss out on anything.
According to The New York Post report, in 2022, the princess participated in the festivities near her home at Kensington Palace.
In one photo, the princess can be seen standing by a neighbor’s door with George, Charlotte and Louis, holding a bag full of candy.
It’s possible that this year the royals will opt to celebrate Halloween with a small private party at home.
“You could understand if [Catherine] wanted to keep within the confines of the royal homes with their own private party and inviting some of their friends over,” Harrold said. “It’s safer, it’s in a more secure environment and a smoother operation”.
So, as the family prepares for a night of fun and candy, it’s clear that Kate is ready to enjoy Halloween to the fullest, surrounded by her loved ones and creating unforgettable memories.
