Princess Catherine spent Wednesday morning on the floor playing with children who have special educational needs, all while sporting a new hairstyle.
Kate visited a portage center in Kent that provides early learning for children with disabilities and participated in a sensory class, bonded with families, and sported freshly cut bangs.
Kate Middleton wears red Zara blazer and new bangs
For the outing, Kate chose a bright red blazer from Zara. The bold color complemented her new brown hair perfectly.
On her feet, she wore $160 Boden black suede ballet flats.
She added sparkle to her face by sporting medium gold twist earrings from Spells of Love.
Kate’s new bangs framed her face, giving her sophisticated style a youthful update.
Kate pulled the rest of her hair back into a complex bun to keep all eyes focused on her new hairstyle.
The Princess’ outfit was perfect for sitting on the floor with the kids at the Portage shoot.
Portage is a program that provides learning support and developmental assistance to children under the age of 5 with special needs.
The National Portage Association works with more than 100 local services in England and Wales.
Princess Kate saw first-hand how Portage helps children gain confidence and skills through play.
She took part in activities such as shredding paper and digging in foam pits.
Photos show the princess laughing as she interacted with the children, clearly at ease.

Princess also spoke with the families to learn about their experiences and the difference Portage has made.
Janet Rickman, President of the National Portage Association, said Kate was very engaging throughout the visit.
The tour dovetails perfectly with Kate’s early childhood initiative. Earlier this year she launched the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood’s “Shaping Us” campaign.
It highlights the impact of the first five years of life and how society can better support children.
