Amid the recent controversy sparked by the statements of the clothing designer for the children of Prince William and Kate, new details have emerged about the health of the Princess of Wales.
Recall that a few days ago, the designer caused a stir with her statements to The Telegraph, in which she said that Kate was going through hell because of her illness.
Days later, it was Prince William himself who shared new information about the princess’s health, who announced through a video posted on social media on March 22 that she has cancer.
Kate Middleton’s Recovery
During his latest official visit, Prince William provided an update on the health of his wife, who is undergoing treatment for cancer.
The Prince of Wales briefly spoke about Kate and their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis upon his arrival at St. Mary’s Community Hospital in the Isles of Scilly on Friday, May 10. A staff member asked about his family.
“May I ask how Princess Kate is doing?” hospital administrator Tracy Smith asked in a video shared by Sky News.
“She’s doing well, thank you,” the royal replied.
“Lovely, and the children as well?” Smith asked.
“The children are very jealous that I’m here and they’re not here as well,” William admitted.
During his stop, the Prince of Wales took the opportunity to bring some souvenirs home.
“What’s selling quickest this morning?” the Prince of Wales asked at On the Quay cafe before buying five Cornish pasties, a savory local treat filled with beef and vegetables.
During his tour, the Prince of Wales also mentioned his children’s jealousy of being in the Isles of Scilly, as it is one of the favorite places of the prince’s children and Kate Middleton.
The royal revealed that he had gone swimming in the morning and expressed his wish to be able to stay longer, but that he had to return home for his family.
This Friday is the last day of Prince William’s work trip to southwest England, his first trip of this kind since Princess Kate made the public announcement about her health.
