Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, has shared a rare and personal message with her supporters as she continues her recovery from a cancer diagnosis earlier this year.
Despite keeping a low profile since revealing her condition in March, Princess Kate recently expressed her eagerness to return to her royal duties, bringing hope and comfort to her admirers.
Kate Middleton’s Personal Statement
Taking to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, Kate and Prince William’s official account shared her enthusiasm for an organization close to her heart—the Scout Association.
At 42, Princess Kate has served as the joint president of the Scouts since 2020, alongside the Duke of Kent. This September 6th, she celebrated the appointment of Dwayne Fields as the new UK Chief Scout, signaling her excitement for the organization’s future and her own involvement in it.
In her statement, Kate wrote warmly, “Delighted to welcome @DwayneFields as the new UK Chief Scout. The Scouts is such an incredible organization, teaching #SkillsForLife and making a huge difference to young people across the country.” She signed the message with a personal touch, adding, “Looking forward to working with you! C.”
The heartfelt message was met with an outpouring of support from her fans, with many leaving comments like: “Lovely message from Princess Catherine,” another said: “What a lovely message from Catherine,”and another user said: “Congratulations!!! So happy to see this and such great news.”
This statement marks one of Kate’s few personal updates on the social platform in recent months. Her last message, posted in August, was a joint note with William, showing their support for Team GB athletes at the Paralympics.
Kate’s uplifting update comes just a day after Prince William made his return to work following the couple’s summer break. Sporting a beard and a sun-kissed look, the Prince visited the Saatchi Gallery in London to view an art project created by former homeless artists.
