After his first State Opening of Parliament, King Charles III will commemorate his 75th birthday this Tuesday, November 14, with community and private events.
The celebrations kicked off Monday with a gathering at his Gloucestershire residence. Then, on Tuesday, several activities are scheduled to celebrate the monarch’s birthday.

This Monday, Charles III joined a special tea party at
Highgrove Garden, where people and organizations turning 75 this year gathered.
Guests enjoyed music and fellowship with the monarch who was seen in good spirits.
Attendees were nominated by friends and family and chosen by vote.
Community celebrations will focus on important anniversaries, such as the 75th anniversary of the NHS.
Charles used the occasion to connect with British citizens from all walks of life.
On Tuesday, Charles’ royal birthday, the King will publicly launch the Coronation Food Project, one of his initiatives to tackle food waste and the cost of living crisis.

Charles and Camilla will visit a food redistribution center and talk to supermarket staff about how to redirect surplus to those in need.
The five-year project represents one of Charles’ passions.
Charles will also announce on his birthday that his Prince’s Trust charity will be renamed the King’s Trust.
The name change avoids confusion with Prince William’s Royal Foundation now that Charles is King. The foundation, founded in 1976, will evolve under Charles’ reign.
Although busy with his public duties, the King has planned an intimate family dinner at Clarence House on Tuesday evening.
Attendees will be limited to close relatives such as Camilla, William, and Kate. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not been invited, as there was no invitation to the party, according to the Sussexes’ spokesman.
Combining service to the community with personal celebrations, Charles celebrates his 75th birthday with both public and private joy.
