The monarchy praised longtime royal photographer Samir Hussein for the photo, taken “at the Braemar Games in September 2022.”
King Charles III shared Christmas greetings with Camilla Parker Bowles (Samir Hussein).
In keeping with tradition, the photograph was imprinted in red ink and accompanied by a short and sweet message from the couple.
On the opposite side, printed in scarlet ink, is the inscription “Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year.”
The Braemar Games have been in existence for nearly 1,000 years. Thousands of people come to watch sporting events, bagpipe competitions and dancing, with His Majesty presiding over the festival.
