King Charles and Queen Camilla donned their finery for a dinner at their beautiful Highgrove House estate.
The soirée was star-studded, with luxury guests including Stanley Tucci, Helen Mirren, and iconic couple David and Victoria Beckham.
On February 7, famed actor and lover of fine food Stanley Tucci was on hand to inspire a special menu for the occasion.
This dinner comes just before the royal couple embarks on their trip to Italy to meet Pope Francis in April.
King Charles’ Gala Dinner at Highgrove House
The event took place at Highgrove Gardens, where, in addition to those mentioned above, students and alumni from the King’s Foundation, as well as representatives from Slow Food and Fashion, joined.
It was an evening to celebrate efforts towards sustainable practices that benefit both people and the planet.
Chef Francesco Mazzei was in charge of creating a menu that fused the freshness of British ingredients with the delights of Italian cuisine, true to Slow Food principles.
And if that wasn’t enough, the drinks were crafted by talented mixologist Alessandro Palazzi, who used Italian flavors and fresh herbs from Highgrove’s gardens.
Tucci, famous for his show “Tucci – The Heart of Italy,” also gave an inspiring speech, along with King Charles and the Italian ambassador to the UK, Inigo Lambertini. It was a memorable evening.
