King Charles sent a message of support on World Cancer Day, even as he continues to deal with the disease himself.
It is a sensitive subject for him, especially since, a year ago, Buckingham Palace shook the British monarchy by announcing that the monarch had cancer.
Although they have not specified the exact type of cancer he is suffering from, they have offered some details about his treatment.
In December, it was announced that the king would continue his treatment in 2025. This news contrasts markedly with that of Kate Middleton, who earlier this year revealed that her disease was in remission. It is a stark reminder of how unpredictable the battle against cancer can be.
King Charles’ Message on Cancer
On Feb. 4, King Charles, 76, and his team shared a touching message and video via their official networks, highlighting organizations and resources that support the fight against cancer.
The message read, “This World Cancer Day, we are sending love to all those navigating a cancer diagnosis – as well as the incredible doctors, nurses, charities, and families who work tirelessly to support them,” accompanied by a heart-shaped hand emoji.
The message included links to three organizations committed to supporting those facing cancer.
The video also included encouraging words from various personalities, such as presenter and bowel cancer survivor Adele Roberts, Olympic cyclist Sir Chris Hoy, and other celebrities who have faced or support the fight against the disease, as well as doctors and executives from the mentioned organizations.

King Charles’ Health Worsens
However, King Charles’ health situation does not seem to be as optimistic as it is presented.
According to royal expert Pilar Eyre, although a palace source indicated that the king’s treatment would continue into the new year with a “controlled condition,” things appear to be more worrisome.
Recent reports have indicated that his schedule has been drastically reduced and many of his audiences are now held at his private residence.
Rumors about King Charles’ condition are alarming. Eyre claimed that “he walks badly, has red eyes, and appears made up in photos.”
She also highlighted the difference between the releases about his condition and that of Princess Kate, who has been announced as being in remission.
“While in the communiqués about Kate they say she is in remission, with Charles they mention that they are continuing with the protocols and that by 2025 he will continue in treatment.”
The expert concludes on a critical note: “The reality is that they indicate to me that Charles’ condition is quite serious. They are not moving forward,” which raises questions about the veracity of the palace’s claims.
Still, palace sources stated in December, “His treatment has been moving in a positive direction and as a managed condition the treatment cycle will continue into next year.” Undoubtedly, the struggle of both King Charles and so many others remains a subject that deserves our attention and empathy.
