Just hours before the coronation ceremony of the new monarch of the United Kingdom, Charles III, the city of Bath, England, was met with an unpleasant surprise. A figure of a giant penis appeared on the lawn of the Royal Crescent, where a party will be held in honor of the coronation.
Residents of the city did not hide their indignation at the controversial figure that was made during the night, and gardeners will have to do everything possible to remove it before the guests arrive at the party.

Despite the incident, the coronation ceremony of Charles III is scheduled to take place in London this Saturday, May 6. The ceremony will be a unique gathering in Europe, full of tradition and symbolism, and will attract thousands of admirers. However, the coronation has also been the subject of anti-monarchist protests.
Foreign guests such as King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain arrived in London on Friday, May 5, for a reception at Buckingham Palace. Meanwhile, fans of the royals have been camping out on the Mall, the long avenue leading to Buckingham Palace, to secure a front-row spot from which to watch the royal procession.
Thousands of tourists are also expected to disembark in London to enjoy the celebration, on its streets, decorated with British flags and royal symbols. Despite the penis-in-the-sod prank in Bath, the coronation of Charles III is expected to be a memorable and joyous ceremony for the British monarchy.
So far the police have not yet taken action to determine who was responsible for drawing a penis on the grass on the eve of the coronation.
