King Charles has traveled to the United Arab Emirates to attend the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference, also known as COP28.
The monarch traveled just two days after the launch of Omid Scobie’s book, “Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy’s Fight for Survival.”
The author’s book chronicles the struggle of the British royal family in an era of constant change and has generated controversy for revealing internal details of the monarchy.
In addition, there appears to be an alleged translation error that has exposed Charles as the racist member of the royal family who made comments about the skin color of Archie, the son of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
What has King Charles said about Omid Scobie’s book?
Although there has been much anticipation about what King Charles has to say about the book, he has not yet commented on it.
During a meeting with Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, some reporters asked him how he was doing, and although it was not a direct question about the book, the King simply replied that he was “very well”.
Despite the controversy, King Charles was in good spirits during his visit to the UAE.
In fact, he made a comment about his birthday, which was celebrated last November 14.
“Having recently had a rather old birthday, I am recovering from the shock of it! ” the king said.
He is scheduled to deliver the speech at the COP28 opening ceremony on Friday and is likely to follow in William and Kate’s footsteps and avoid any comment on the controversial book.

Despite the controversy, Charles is on one of the most important trips on his agenda, where pressing issues such as climate change will be addressed across the world.
It is an opportunity for the King to show his commitment to tackling these global challenges and leading the nation towards a more sustainable future.
