On Tuesday, February 27, an emotional memorial service was held in England in honor of the late King Constantine of Greece, the last heir of the Glucksburg dynasty and the last monarch of Greece.

The date was ideal for representatives of several royal houses to meet, and the day left great and memorable photos, such as the meeting of King Juan Carlos I with his son Felipe VI, as well as some glances between King Felipe and Queen Letizia.

In addition, one of the most awaited moments was that of Queen Letizia with Marie-Chantal, with whom she has had occasional disagreements.

The two royals showed a cordial and respectful attitude, demonstrating their ability to overcome differences and maintain a diplomatic relationship.

Another of the most outstanding encounters was the departure of the Bourbons.  Juan Carlos came out on the arm of his son in one of the closest public images between father and son.

“Clearly, it is to normalize their good relationship,” defines Cristian Salomoni, director of the International Institute of Behavior Analysis and expert in nonverbal communication.

As for Queen Letizia and King Felipe, the body language expert said:

“You can see how the king and queen empathize at the moment of her arrival at the church. He touches her shoulder, a gesture of affection between the two. They are smiling and in harmony,” Salomoni told Vanitatis.

The ceremony also marked the reunion of King Felipe VI and Queen Camilla. “It’s a very endearing portrait of a family going to a memorial and meeting relatives they don’t normally see,” he explains.
