This Monday, details of the trip of the Spanish king to Palma de Malloca were leaked, a trip that the whole family usually makes for the days of Easter but that this year did not take place, at least not all together, because it was learned that Felipe traveled to this Spanish town, as well as his mother the emeritus queen, Sofia.

According to the Spanish press, the king visited the lands of Mallorca last Tuesday, April 12, and the reason for the trip was none other than to visit the Club Náutico del Arenal de Palma, and for the start of the 420 Spanish Cup.
Through the Instagram account of the Cantabrian Sailing Federation, the visit was documented and they published an image showing the father of Leonor and Sofia in the company of sailors of the Cantabrian team before the start of the competition.
The image also shows the relaxed atmosphere of the king who for the occasion said goodbye to suits and chose to look comfortable and casual with dark jeans, a plaid shirt and a polo jacket with front zipper. On his feet he wore dark brown lace-up boots.
Sailing is among the passions of the monarch, who has felt an affinity for water sports since he was young, as he was on the team that participated in the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992.
After stopping by the club and chatting with sailors, coaches and technicians, it was learned that the king visited his mother, who was in Mallorca as part of her saint’s day tradition.
