On Tuesday, January 18, King Felipe attended the inauguration of the new headquarters of the newspaper ‘El Correo’. There, during the official event, he received a pleasant surprise.
The father of Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia arrived at the Gran Vía de Bilbao, in Madrid, for the event and once there, he walked through all the departments of the newspaper and the newsroom.

During a pleasant conversation, the King of Spain received a surprise from the newspaper’s staff. It is an image of the cover commemorating his appointment as king.
The graphic shows the then proclaimed king embracing Queen Letizia on one of the balconies of the Royal Palace.
