King Felipe is preparing the ground for Princess Leonor’s next big step in her military training.
While the heiress is in Zarzuela after her return from the training ship Juan Sebastián de Elcano, she is all set to embark on the frigate Blas de Lezo on June 14.
This will be the next stage of her second year of training, which has taken her from the Naval Academy in Marín to the high seas.
King Felipe Prepares Princess Leonor’s Military Future
Her commitment to her military training remains firm, and the calendar continues to move forward with new experiences that prepare her for her future responsibilities.
The king’s attention is not focused solely on the present. His official agenda highlights a symbolic event scheduled for June 15.
This is his visit to the San Javier Air Base, where he will attend the ‘Aire 25’ air show as part of the 40th anniversary of the Patrulla Águila aerobatic team.
This air base, which will welcome the princess in August for her third and final military course, will be one of the key stages in her journey.
Since the beginning of this stage, the bond between father and daughter has been evident. Felipe has accompanied Leonor at decisive moments, giving her advice and encouraging her to enjoy each stage of her military training.
The frigate Blas de Lezo will be her home for twenty days, where Princess Leonor will experience new maneuvers and challenges.
