The visit of King Felipe to the Miño Naval Command in Tuy, Pontevedra was the best way to reactivate his official commitments after a week of absence.
The Spanish monarch was received amid cheers and chants in favor of the monarchy, which in recent months has seen in controversy over the corruption scandal of King Juan Carlos I.

Visit of King Felipe to the Miño Naval Command
Upon his arrival at the headquarters, the Head of State was received by the shouts and applause of some 200 people who were in the place.
“Spain loves you!”, “We love him!”, “Long live the King!” and Long live Spain! ”were the slogans dedicated to the monarch.
The event was organized by the Spanish Royal Concord Association as part of a gesture of support for the king.

For King Felipe’s visit to the Miño Naval Command, the monarch arrived dressed in the uniform of the captain general of the Navy and reviewed the staff of the Command.
He also visited a small exhibition of fishing gear before embarking to navigate a stretch of the Miño River.
