King Felipe VI, a ski enthusiast, has once again enjoyed his favorite sport with a trip to the Formigal ski resort.
This visit marks the fourth time the monarch has chosen this destination to slide down the snow, confirming his fondness for the slopes.
Just a few weeks ago, he had already been seen in Valdelinares, in Teruel, where he also took the opportunity to practice skiing.
King Felipe skiing in Formigal
For the day in Formigal, the king opted for a Japanese style jacket in gray and black tones, with a striking red hood.
The garment belongs to Descente, a renowned firm in the world of skiing, and he had already worn it on previous occasions, both in Baqueira and Valdelinares.
On this occasion, Felipe VI was accompanied by Antonio Gericó, executive president of the Aramón Group, with whom he shared the experience on the slopes.
Unlike other times, in which he has been close and interacted with other skiers, this visit had a private character.
Although his presence did not go unnoticed, he avoided encounters with other athletes.
The absence of Queen Letizia
As usual, the king went skiing without the company of Queen Letizia, who, despite having tried to join the sport on a few occasions, does not share the same enthusiasm for the snow.
The passion for skiing has also been inherited by Princess Leonor.
In December 2023, during her mountain training at the Military Academy in Zaragoza, she demonstrated her prowess on the snow.
Her fluency on the slopes confirmed that she inherited the taste for skiing from her father, King Felipe.
