During their state visit to Denmark, King Felipe and Queen Letizia attended several official engagements, including a state banquet hosted by Queen Margrethe of Denmark.
For the occasion, Letizia wowed the crowd in a stunning navy blue embroidered gown by Felipe Varela, complemented by a dazzling fleur-de-lys tiara.
It was at this dinner that a moment was left that gives much to talk about King Felipe’s alleged flirtation with Princess Mary of Denmark, the wife of Prince Frederick.
Flirtation between King Felipe and Mary Donaldson
During the banquet, King Felipe sat between Queen Margaret and Princess Mary of Denmark, Prince Frederick’s wife.
During the dinner, the King and the Princess were seen to be on good terms, laughing and sharing confidences.
However, Queen Letizia’s serious gaze towards her husband has led to speculation and has been interpreted as a way of “marking her territory”.
Throughout the evening, Letizia maintained minimal contact with Prince Frederick, Mary’s husband.
This amusing gesture by Queen Letizia went viral on social media, generating comments and speculation about their relationship.
“Don’t forget Mary, he’s mine.” 😉😁

The same scene was repeated at the second gala dinner in Copenhagen offered by Felipe VI and Letizia to their hosts during their state visit to Denmark.
This evening, the farewell of the official visit, took place this Tuesday evening at the Glyptoteca, the Museum of Sculpture.
In the images shared on the X account of the Spanish Royal House, you can see the King of Spain and Mary Donaldson having a lively conversation. They smile and seem in harmony, while Queen Letizia stares at them, although she seems a bit angry.
It is important to note that the Royal Household has chosen not to comment on the private lives of members of the royal family, including Prince Felipe. So everything has remained an amusing anecdote of the trip.
